Covergirl Clump Crusher and Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascaras (Review) (Old)

Aloha!

Recently, I've noticed that the Clump Crusher by Covergirl has been getting lots of hype, and I've also been hearing about Best Lash Extreme by Jordana from quite a few beauty gurus on youtube. They all swear by them so I decided to give them a try.

The photos below are my eyelashes:

With no mascara, with one coat, two coats, and three coats. 

Okay so first, the clump crusher is supposed to be a mascara that does the job without your eyelashes clumping. Also, this is supposed to be waterproof (but it's not -__-). As you can see, the eyelashes do get volumized and lengthened without any clumping. This mascara doesn't give me any of those funky tips which is always a plus. Oh and uhm...I teared a little and this mascara started smearing so fast...they should definitely recheck the formula because it's not water resistant at all. Besides that, the mascara does what it says it does and doesn't do what it says it doesn't.

Overall, I'd give this:

because well..it's not waterproof like the packaging says it is.

Next is the Best Lash Extreme by Jordana. Lots of gurus swear by this mascara. I don't know if I'd say the same. The photos say it all! One coat doesn't do much for my lashes and once I start layering the mascara, it starts clumping and it gives me the ugly funky tips. Not cool man, not cool. I could probably use this combined with a mascara that has plastic/rubber bristles on the wand to separate my lashes after applying this mascara. But by itself, it's too clumpy. I might be able to work with a lash comb as well. I just thought of something! I like the formula so maybe I can just use a different wand and keep the actual mascara formula itself. Ugh...why didn't I think of that before...? -___- I'm so dumb.

Anyway, overall, I'd give this:
