Real Techniques and Beauty Blender Dupe?

I found these brushes and cosmetic blending sponge at Ross for $15.
Just by the look of it, I could tell that the brushes were supposed to be a set of knock-off Real Techniques Brushes. This "Core Collection" supposedly has a flat top foundation brush (which it doesn't) and a blush brush and detailer brush. The biggest brush which was supposed to be a flat top foundation brush is domed and definitely not dense enough to be used for foundation but it is great for powder. I use the smaller brush for contour/blush and I don't really use the detailer brush.
The sponge is a dupe for the beauty blender, I guess. For $6, it works great (photo below). When I wet the sponge, it gets a lot bigger and it makes it easy to cover my face with foundation (wetting it also prevents the sponge from soaking up the product). It gives a really nice finish, and looks super natural.
