MAC | RiRi Loves MAC Summer Collection

Aloha,

Like I've mentioned before, whenever something is limited edition, I have to have it. Same with collections (if they appeal to me, of course). This time, I bought the RiRi Loves MAC Summer Collection. I wanted to get all the products but sadly, the lustre drops were sold out. I waited an hour online to get my lipsticks and bronzer/blush duo. The bronzer/blush duo and RiRi Woo lipstick came a few days after I placed my order and the RiRi Boy and Heaux lipsticks came a bit later since they were back ordered. But now, everything is sold out except RiRi Woo. Each of the products have RiRi's signature in them, which is cute, and I love it. I wish I had ordered more, but at the time of the sale, it said that it was only one of each per order... :/

All three of the lipsticks are Retro Matte. Super matte, and super long lasting. I put swatches on my wrist and they wouldn't come off even when I scrubbed in the shower! They definitely lasted when I went out to eat as well.

From left to right: Heaux, Riri Boy, and Riri Woo

Heaux is a red lipstick with a blue undertone, and it is much darker than RiRi Woo. It's great for a night out. I think this shade suits all skin tones but especially darker complexions. I would use this and RiRi Woo for a pin up type look. For a day I'm lazy and only want to do eyeliner. It would pull the whole look together. Also, I would use RiRi Woo and Heaux together and maybe try an ombre lip!
RiRi Boy is a lavender shade, which is absolutely gorgeous! It's my favorite of the three. It's also the one that suits me best. I feel this one suits those of light to medium complexions.
RiRi Woo is the first of the three lipsticks that were released from the collection. This suits everyone too, but I believe this also suits those of light to medium complexions. People of darker skin tones can wear it but it looks extra bright, and I feel it looks like a bit too much. Heaux seems like the better choice, as it looks a bit more toned down.

Up next is the bronzer/blush duo. It's called Hibiscus Kiss. I like this duo, it's not very pigmented but it was pigmented enough for me. I've used it so much that her signature is starting to go away. The bronzer is not muddy, and it's also matte. I've always been looking for a matte bronzer (for contour) that didn't have a muddy red undertone. This was the one! The one I was looking for. The only downside to this duo is that the blush is super small...I have a hard time getting the blush onto my brush without getting the bronzer mixed in. Other than that, this duo is bloody amazing. Brilliant!

(Ignore my swatch of RiRi Woo haha) Here is the swatch. Definitely not as dark as the actual product looks. For me, this was a plus! (:

Overall, I'd give this collection:

♡♡♡♡♡
5/5 Luvs!
This collection was beautiful. Every single product. I wish I could have gotten the lustre though.

Angel x
